About Christine

I’m Christine, the heart and soul behind Hamilton Entertainment, creating colourful, uplifting cabaret-style shows for seniors across the Sunshine Coast.

I absolutely love what I do. For me, the enjoyment goes far beyond stepping into the limelight — I love designing and making costumes, choosing the music, creating the dance routines and bringing all the little details together to make each show something special. The saying “Do something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” certainly rings true for me.

My love of performing began very early. After my first dance class at the age of three, I announced that one day I would dance on television — and by eight, I was performing on the popular children’s television show Fat Cat and Friends.

Throughout my school years, dance classes filled almost every evening. I later completed two years of full-time classical ballet and performing arts training before joining cabaret productions and touring internationally.

Over the years, I’ve taught and choreographed Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Ballroom and Latin dance for adults, as well as performing hundreds of educational children’s shows through my former business, Edukids Showtime.

Dance is still a very important part of my life. I continue to take regular Ballet, Tap and Jazz classes, and I also teach adult ballet in Maroochydore every Monday.

What means the most to me now is the opportunity to bring joy to seniors and make their day just a little brighter. I genuinely love seeing people smile, sing along, laugh and become part of the show. Being able to combine a lifetime of performing with something that brings so much happiness to others makes me feel truly blessed. I really do feel as though I’m living my best life.
